And a fond welcome to those of you new to our mailing list. Sorry this email is so belated, we have been very busy getting The WAITIKI 7's new album New Sounds of Exotica ready for public consumption... and oh, is it ready! Featuring some of our favorite Martin Denny tunes, like "When First I Love" and "Similau" to newly written arrangements of WAITIKI standards that really showcase The WAITIKI 7's musicians.

If you get the actual CD, you're in for a treat. Central to the artwork is "Exotica Nightfall," an original painting by renown tiki artist Sam Gambino. Photographer Jason Goodman has stellar shots of Honolulu and Berlin—where WAITIKI 7 made its debut in '08. Not to mention, internationally praised cocktail recipes by mixologist/bandleader Randy Wong.
The album (CD or digital download) is now available at WAITIKI.com, Waitiki7.com, Amazon, iTunes, eMusic, and Napster!
"Supra-chilled, as exotica should be." -- Chris May, All About Jazz
"Serious and competent acolytes of exotica." -- Honolulu Star-Bulletin
"The arrangements are fresh ... infused with the feel of contemporary jazz." -- Express Milwaukee
"Four Stars" -- Audiophile Audition
On the JazzWeek World Chart, we are debuting @ #22 and are TIED FOR #1 “MOST ADDED” album. On the CMJ charts, we are #2 "MOST ADDED" for their Jazz chart and #3 "MOST ADDED" for their World chart.

Joining our classic small group at the Ohana festival this year (June 25 & 26) is WAITIKI INTERNATIONAL's newest project, The Kahiki Serenaders. Hapa-haole instrumentals meet the swanky '60s bachelor pad. See their tiki festival debut, Friday evening (6/25).
